Mr and Mrs Howe from Throckley were troubled by traffic noise because of the main road which passes the house. They researched on Google for acoustic glazing and found Dave Kendall was on page 1 no 1. Dave had already inserted a new opening and new Kommerling PVCu window with Planitherm EnergiMax® glass in the bathroom. Dave advised acoustic units which have laminated safety glass on one side and 4mm Planitherm glass on the other. As the glass resonates at differing frequencies it prevents a lot of noise from travelling through the windows. The Howe's are delighted with the windows they had installed and they are now planning to have further windows changed.
