Mr and Mrs Maidens of Seaham bought a new property which is on a main road through the estate. They were having real trouble with noise. Dave explained that the double glazing which was installed was pretty poor compared to the acoustic energy efficient Rehau frame model he recommended. They accepted what he was saying about the specification on the frame and the glass and tested him out with the living room window, Dave installed a new Rehau frame with energy efficient acoustic units which have 6.8mm acoustic laminated glass on the outside. This not only dramatically reduces noise it cuts down on the UV rays coming through the windows which fades curtains carpets and three piece suites. After a weekend of testing out the frame Mr Maidens is absolutely over the moon and is going to replace the other windows in the house for the same specifications one at a time 15/11/2016
