The Barrass family of Kenton needed a Sureflap pet flap in their french doors. They had a price from Dave Kendall Glaziers Newcastle but had other firms desperately trying to undercut his price. A glazier from Durham undercut Davis price by £47.00 and they went with him. He took a £65.00 deposit with no invoice or paperwork and then messed them about for 3 weeks with various excuses. They then contacted Dave Kendall again in desperation and Dave explained that because of the width of the glass no glaziers could cut a hole in and put it through the toughening process, because it was too narrow. Dave explained that he had created a jointer to install the pet-flap into a PVCu panel and then joint the toughened glass on the top. They told Dave to go ahead and they got their deposit back, Dave completed it just as he said and the Barrass family are delighted. They were also able to pay by card and received all invoices and receipts. They are now going to leave a great review on Google for Dave and said they would never go for the cheapest price ever again, 10/12/2019.
