Mr and Mrs Highmoor of Gosforth asked Dave Kendall, Glaziers Newcastle to have a look at their bow window as it was very cold. The frame itself was in good condition but he showed them with his infrared thermometer that the glass was showing 10 degrees on the inside when the average of energy efficient glass is 14 so 4 degrees difference which is massive. Dave has replaced the glass with energy efficient units and sealed where necessary and it has made a big difference to the living room heat, 04/12/2019.
