Mr & Mrs Airlie of Ryton wanted to keep the old wooden window frames and just renew the glass. They trawled the internet but nobody they rang would carry out the work. They contacted Dave Kendall who gave them a price for the work and explained most people avoided wooden framed double glazing as it was so hard to get the double glazed sealed units out of the frames. Dave agreed to change it for them and he was right, it was a very awkward job but it all came good in the end. 26/5/17
