Mr & Mrs Walls of Seaton Burn in Wideopen live on a busy main road and are troubled with the noise from the traffic and pedestrians. They had already contacted Dave Kendall to replace the living room glass units for energy efficient acoustic double glazed units and they found it con reduced the noise considerably. They now wanted the two upsatairs bedrooms and the bathroom window units replaced. Dave replaced them with energy efficient 6.8mm acoustic laminated units. Mr Walls commented on how quiet they make the house and they can feel the difference in the warmth as well. Another plus point of using laminated glass on the outside it vastly reduces the UV rays of the sun which fades curtains and carpets, and obviously from a security point of view laminated glass is virtually burglar proof. 21/12/16
